I’m Anna, a Spanish teacher born and raised in Xàbia, a coastal town my family has called home for generations.
I offer personalized, relaxed lessons designed to help you speak Spanish confidently while discovering the local culture, everyday life, and history of this place.
With a background in Early Childhood Education and outgoing studies in language teaching, I combine proven methods with real-life experience: the stories, traditions, and lifestyle that make this place so special.
Join me at Words & Waves Spanish Lessons, and let’s enjoy learning Spanish together with sun, stories, and a bit of Mediterranean charm.
Where the lessons take place?
Lessons take place in my home, a cozy and welcoming space with garden views and plenty of Mediterranean light, in the Arenal area of Jávea, just 7 minutes’ walk from the beach. It’s a perfect spot to practice Spanish while soaking up a little sun and sea breeze.
If you prefer, lessons can also be online, so you can learn from anywhere, or at your own home if that’s more convenient.
The atmosphere is always relaxed, friendly, and full of conversation. You’ll feel like you’re enjoying a long Spanish “sobremesa” after lunch, with stories, laughs, and no pressure to take a siesta 😄
